New Trump Statement On the Election Hits All the Right Notes

Article by Bonchie in RedState

New Trump Statement On the Election Hits All the Right Notes

If you listen to the mainstream media, the race for the presidency is already over. The reality is that there are a lot of things left to be done, from finishing the counting of ballots in Arizona, to recounts in other states, to court challenges over voting irregularities. And though even some on the right want Trump to concede now (predictably and unfortunately), there is absolutely no reason for him to do so until he’s exhausted every option at his disposal.

On that note, President Trump released a new statement this afternoon on the state of the race. In my opinion, it hits all the right notes.

Any media outlet, commentator, or politician demanding Trump simply fold up shop should be completely ignored. Just because the odds are longer than Republicans would like does not mean they are impossible and shouldn’t be tested. As the President outlines here, this is no longer just about his re-election. This is about a lack of integrity and credibility hampering the entire election system right now.

It is absolutely idiotic to ever have a situation where ballots are allowed to arrive after Election Day and be counted. It is one thing to make an exception for military ballots. It is another it allow non-postmarked ballots to flow in for days with zero accountability, as is happening in Pennsylvania right now because of an awful court ruling. If someone wants to vote early, they should be required to have their ballot in by Election Day. If it doesn’t arrive in time, they should be expected to go vote in person. In fact, just to be safe, I’d set a deadline for early vote arrivals up to three days prior to the election. That way they can start counting them and have the results ready for election night. The current system across many states has led to results still be tabulated days, and in some cases weeks later. That is unacceptable and the stuff you’d expect from a banana republic.

I ranted a bit about that this morning.

Trump finishes by pledging to continue fighting via every legal aspect available to him. That is the right attitude. This is not the time to fold up shop and start talking about letting Joe Biden have a cabinet, which is something Lindsey Graham did today. It’s the time to stay calm, be methodical, and follow this thing through. There’s plenty of room for analysis of other aspects of the race and the future, including the House and Senate. RedState will continue to cover those aspects because they matter, but there’s also room to keep the pressure on in the presidential race, which is simply not over yet. Trump is doing just that, and a majority of Republicans are behind him.

Voter fraud? It's as easy as A-B-C

People across the nation have watched the developments of the past few days with increasing alarm and disbelief -- and a rising tide of Cold Anger.  Many are certain that voter fraud is happening, but are barred from many avenues which could help prove this.

Many are trying to figure out how there could be such astounding and statistically impossible/improbable results being reported.  I believe what I outline here is one way.

The data below comes from the Michigan voter rolls, as of October 12, 2020.  Anyone can download the entire voter rolls for Michigan, as you will see from these links.

If anyone has the HD space, and wants to run automated data-base queries for themselves, the entire, active voter list is available here > https://michiganvoters.info/download.html

Michigan Voters Info

After accessing the above link, we get a page of the letters of the alphabet.  Clicking on any one of those will take you to the first page for names beginning with that letter.

There are 33 pages of 'A' names.  Each page has 150(+/-) entries of a range of names, like drawers in a file cabinet.  (4950 pages, just starting with 'A')

Each one of those pages averaged 10 of (I shall call them) 'redundant' voter IDs.  That's 49,500 valid, 'redundant' voter IDs/registration numbers -- just for names beginning with 'A'.

Times 26 letters, that's 1,287,000 potential fraudulent votes.  (Yes, there will be a wide variance between letters, this is just a quick-and-dirty estimation.)

Think of the possibilities afforded.  Michigan says they have 8,127,804 registered voters, but there are only, in reality (about) 6,840,804 actual separate, distinct individuals.  The people who run the  elections in that state (DIMocrats for a long time) can use these redundant IDs to pad the vote as much as they need to, in any given election.

They can query the data-base to find out which ID is actually being used for any given individual, then use the others to request as many ballots as they need to make up any difference they want to overcome, and, unless someone cross-references the IDs to actual votes cast, no one else will ever know.

This also helps them to hide the extent of the fraud.  EVEN IF the votes cast/reported exceed the number of ACTUAL, DISTINCT VOTERS (as seems evident in the statistically absurd percentages reported in this election), they are still being reported against the number of active voter IDs -- which includes the 1.3 million redundant IDs (estimated), so you will never know the votes reported are WAY BEYOND what is actually, legally, possible.

These are just what I was able to find with a casual, manual scan, of only the partial results of JUST ONE LETTER.  With court-ordered warrants/subpeonas providing access to this data, and the results of past elections, or THIS election, one could easily write data-base queries to find these within minutes, and the results between both could be an easily understandable presentation within hours.

WORST OF ALL IS THE THOUGHT THAT YOU CAN EXTRAPOLATE ACROSS THE REST OF THE FIFTY STATES.  Even discounting those states with Republican control for a decade or more, you are still left with the reality of enough votes nation-wide to swing ANY national election...or any particular state needed for electoral considerations.

Each state's Secretary of State is tasked with maintaining the voter rolls, and ensuring their INTEGRITY.  Since the info above would HAVE to be known by several different people working in I.T. for the state, plus many more in the office(s) of the Secretary of State, this goes far beyond casual incompetence, or even GROSS incompetence -- I believe this is evidence of deliberate criminality, and must be corrected, and those responsible prosecuted for their failure of the public trust.

No, I Will Not Be Lectured

No, I Will Not Be Lectured

Scott Hounsell • Nov 05, 2020

There are very few people who get to lecture me about things. My mother, for instance, is allowed to lecture me about literally anything. My kids, get to lecture me about the colorful language I have been known to exhibit. Of the people who aren’t allowed to lecture me are raging hypocrites, who have been saying for years one thing, but another when it serves them. Democrats lecturing Republicans about election results is a prime example. As we know so far, there are many reasons why we shouldn’t trust the results, as written so perfectly by SisterToldjah, here.

Republicans have endured fake outrage cycles for years from the Democrats. We were assured the only way that Trump won, was by cheating. We were told that Trump colluded with the Russians and that Mueller was going to be arresting Trump. We were told that Trump had offered quid pro quo with Ukraine, despite no evidence of such, and a straight party-line vote (yes, I am looking at you Mitt Romney) confirmed this to be as political as it gets. Scandal after scandal has been raised when it politically serves the left and then dismissed when it no longer does. From Kavanaugh to ACB, we’ve been told that nothing about this President, his actions, or literally anything else he does is legitimate, despite being elected through the process outlined in the US Consitution. Democrats and the media have lied, cheated, and mischaracterized the President’s record from day one, and now, we are supposed to trust a process, in places they are exclusively in charge. We are genuinely supposed to believe that while they have been abusing the process at every turn for four years, they will suddenly do what is right by Trump in counting ballots? Hard Pass.

For four years we have heard nothing but garbage from the left, discounting everything we hold dear about our Republic. Now they want to lecture us about accepting the outcome of an election? No thanks. What about anything the left has exhibited for the last four years has given any suggestion that they have accepted the results of the 2016 election? They made numerous unfounded accusations that were later proven to be complete lies and now they want us to trust leaders in Pennsylvania, who have been treating Trump as an enemy, to properly execute their jobs? At this point, can anyone truly say they believe that Democrats would be more focused on the legitimate counting of ballots and the tabulating of the vote than they would on putting the thumb-screws to Trump? They have sacrificed their entire agenda to defeating him and you don’t think for one second they would offer election integrity at the dark altar if it meant defeating Trump?

Name a Democrat that ever gave President Trump the benefit of the doubt. Name a Democrat that ever acted in good faith. Name a Democrat that ever suggested giving him a chance.

It never happened.

And now they want our good faith? Nooooope.

Sorry, I won’t sit back and be lectured by the left about unity and integrity and trusting the process. You’ve abused the process for 4 years. You’ve divided us, demanded we swear allegiance to your creed or that we too were enemies to the Republic. Enough. I won’t be lectured by you, or anyone else, who has spent the last four years ignoring the sacred traditions of our nation, especially while votes are still being counted, about accepting the outcome of the election.

We’re Supposed To Believe The GOP Had A Great Election Night Except For President?

It would be mystifying if Republicans won more seats in the House, retained the Senate, and picked up state legislative seats, all while the same voters voted against Trump.

Since Joe Biden was picked to be the Democratic Party’s presidential puppet, we have been told he would win the presidency by a blowout. Political media has been speculating eagerly about another “blue wave” that would wash over the nation in line with their preposterous polls showing Biden winning by as much as 17 or even more points.

Two weeks before the election, the “nonpartisan” Cook’s Political Report predicted an expanded Democrat majority in the House, a “net gain of five to ten seats to a gain of between five and 15 seats.” On election day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrat campaign chairwoman Rep. Cheri Bustos predicted Democrats “would not only defend gains made in 2018 but flip districts thought to be in safe Republican territory.”

Last week, Democrats told the Washington Post, which described the party as “awash in cash,” they expected to flip as many as 15 House seats on Biden’s presumed presidential coattails. That didn’t happen at all. In fact, the opposite did. Now as localities run by Democrats “count” votes under suspicious circumstances, we are supposed to believe that voters selected coattails detached from a coat?

Republicans have flipped seven U.S. House races so far and Democrats flipped two, according to RealClearPolitics. That narrows Democrats’ hold on the House from 232 to 227, nine more than the majority, even if no more are flipped. Republicans could even ultimately flip 15, as many as Democrats had hoped to.

Republicans had twice as many Senate seats to defend this election than Democrats did, and they currently appear to retain their Senate majority. So far, Democrats have flipped one seat. Far poorer-funded Republicans retained seats Democrats literally spent hundreds of millions of dollars to flip, such as Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

At the state level, USA Today reports, Democrats also failed to flip seats they had targeted, again usually with more money than Republicans. The only gubernatorial flip went from Democrat to Republican, in Montana. In congressional and state House races in Texas, Republicans also retained their majorities despite massive outside funding and high-profile targeting from Democrats.

“Democrats had methodically targeted seat pickup opportunities in several legislative chambers to flip party control in Arizona, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Texas,” USA Today says. “While some statehouse seats are still being tallied, Republicans held onto control of many of those places, notably in North Carolina’s state House and Senate. Texas, considered one of the biggest flip opportunities, also stayed red. Republicans likely will hold key voting majorities in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan ahead of reapportionment next year” (emphasis added).

Politico, the voice of establishment Democrat wisdom in DC, headlined its Wednesday Playbook newsletter, “What blue wave?” “Tuesday was an abject disaster for Democrats in Washington,” it said. “…We fielded text after text from Hill Democrats Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning with existential questions about their leadership and the direction of their party. Democrats told us in the weeks and months leading up to Election Day that they were on track to win the majority in the Senate, and they don’t appear poised to do that” despite setting forest fires to campaign cash

.In the end, “Republicans could have a net gain of 10 House seats,” Politico claims, squeezing Democrats’ majority. So far, the only two Democrat House pickups in the country are from redistricting in North Carolina. Republicans will win every “expected to win easily” seat, haven’t lost a single “expected to win narrowly” seat, and are ahead in all but three of the 27 “tossup” races.

Meanwhile, Republicans have already flipped three seats that were supposed to be narrow Democrat wins and are ahead in several others, and may even flip one of the “easy Democrat win” races.

This all means we saw an amazing night for Republicans on Tuesday. Toss atop that eight months of destabilizing coronavirus psychological operations on the American people designed to steal the presidency after other coup methods failed.

Then look at some odd differences between this amazing night for Republicans in downballot races and the incongruent results for Trump in just a few key states — key states that happen to be the ones everyone knew would be crucial to Trump’s path to victory, and all of which began to have “voting irregularities” and pauses in vote counting as Trump appeared to command the lead while closing in on final vote totals.

Biden was projected to win by a significant margin in all of the states on which the election now hangs (all these vote counts were as of Wednesday night and according to RealClearPolitics). There appears to be no relation to polling averages versus actual election night returns — the current vote tallies are in bold at top, to compare to the wildly inaccurate polling averages in the graphs below.

Arizona: Trump 48, Biden 51

Michigan: Trump 48, Biden 49

Pennsylvania: Trump 51, Biden 47

Wisconsin: Trump 49, Biden 49

Now look at basically the same thing going on in other states key to a Trump win, where he was declared the victor Tuesday night. Ohio is especially pertinent as it is in the Midwest, right next to Pennsylvania and Michigan, and Trump got a huge margin of victory there.

Ohio: Trump 53, Biden 45

Florida: Trump 51, Biden 48

Now let’s get a little more granular with a case study of the crucial state Pennsylvania.

Here Republicans also seem to be having a good year on the state level. In the state House, while not all vote tallies are in yet, as many as nine Republicans may unseat Democrat incumbents and five are likely to win races that lacked an incumbent. Democrats appear at best to have mostly retained incumbent seats and so far no flips for them seem to have happened.

In three races for statewide office — auditor general, secretary of state, and treasurer– Republican candidates currently have significant leads over Democrat opponents in Pennsylvania. In U.S. House races in the state, all incumbents seem to have retained their seats except what looks like a good chance for a Republican to flip a Democrat seat in District 10. In the state Senate, again incumbents all won their seats except a Republican flipped a Democrat seat.

All of this adds up to a picture in which, if these very even races tip any way at all, they are tipping Republican. This seems to match the national picture as well.

It would be mystifying if Republicans won more seats in the House, retained the Senate, and picked up state legislative seats, all while the same voters voted against Trump. Trump has solidified his support among Republican voters and enjoys a massive approval rating from them he didn’t have in 2016, and expanded his coalition to more working-class and minority voters this year. This is not a blue wave year. This is a year that the blue wave of 2018 appears to be receding.

Yet we are supposed to believe the same media-Democrat complex that fed us wildly erroneous polls all year, and runs false information operations on us about coronavirus, the Russia hoax, and everything else they can use to steal power, that this blue wave’s evaporation did not at all affect the top of the ticket?

The best response to Islamism is Christianity

The Best Response to
Islamism is Christianity
Christian freedom of conscience results in the value of free speech; to say what is in our minds and hearts

By Michael Nazir-Ali

It has become normal to think of the Islamist attacks in Europe as attacks on a secular way of life. The beheading of the teacher in Paris, the murders in Notre-Dame in Nice and the shootings in Vienna are presented as a struggle between radical Islamism and a particular kind of enlightened secularism born of the French Revolution. That’s the way Emmanuel Macron sees it; that’s the way most educated atheists across Europe see it. But what they forget is that Enlightenment ethics — the ideas of tolerance and fairness — have their foundation in Christianity. And the best response to violent Islamism isn’t humanism, but the idea of a loving, merciful Christian God.

As Jonathan Miller says, secularism simply doesn’t have the spiritual and moral resources to tackle a comprehensive social, political, economic and religious ideology like Islamism. To begin with, liberté, egalité and fraternité, the values of French secularism, are not self-explanatory or self-evident. For most of human history, most people have not been free or equal. Brotherhood is, around the world, most often seen as tribal, limited to one’s kinship or ethnic group. In Islam it’s the brotherhood of fellow believers that counts.

Freedom, liberty and the brotherhood of all men, precious not only in France but throughout the western world, flow from Christianity. It’s Christianity’s insistence on a personal relationship with God and an internalizing of his moral demand on us that led to the primacy of the person and of conscience in western thought — this is Larry Siedentop’s insight in his Inventing the Individual.

Christian freedom of conscience results in the value of free speech; to say what is in our minds and hearts — within reason. Equality, as a value, arises from the Judaeo-Christian teaching that all human beings have a common origin and equal dignity because they have been made in the divine image. It was just this view that led to the Dominican bishop Bartolomé de Las Casas’s brave struggle against the enslavement of the indigenous populations of Latin America, a struggle which gave birth to the language of human rights in Europe. The Christian idea of natural human dignity provided the slogan ‘Am I not a man and a brother?’ for the largely Evangelical-led campaign against the slave trade and then against slavery itself. The radical Enlightenment, on the other hand, ended in the massacres of Robespierre’s Reign of Terror.

Throughout the ages, there have been Muslims, like the Sufis, who have, along with Christians, emphasized the importance of love. Others have held that there should be no compulsion in enforcing Islam on the unwilling. This is emphatically not the agenda of the man who murdered Samuel Paty. For an Islamist, the aim of jihad is to reduce freedom and equality. Speech, education, dress, diet and opinion are all controlled by the guardians of Islamist orthodoxy.

So there is a standoff here: the West believes its values to be the product of ‘reason’ alone rather than the result of cumulative tradition and custom. Islamists, on the other hand, hold that their beliefs and values come from divine revelation, which is immutable. Where do we go from here?

The West needs to recover its nerve and to acknowledge that its values are not freestanding but arise from the Judeo-Christian tradition. The situation in France and in Austria is a wake-up call for the West. We must reexamine the basis of our life together and remember our past, in order to have a future.

Republican 2024 Hopefuls Can Speak Now or....

Republican 2024 Hopefuls Can Speak Now

....or Shut up in Four Years

With Arizona coming down to the wire and irregularities in Pennsylvania’s vote counting, the race for the presidency could not possibly be closer. If Trump manages to take both states, he is re-elected. If Biden picks up just one (or takes Georgia after more ballots have been “found“), then Democrats will retake the White House.

That means that now is the time to fight, and Republican voters are suddenly paying very close attention to who is willing to stand up right now and who is cowering in the corner.

Ron DeSantis has not been quiet. He went on Fox News last night and sounded off on a range of issues, from Fox News’ ridiculously early call of Arizona even while it’s clearly in play, to the need for the GOP to fight tooth and nail now that things are so close. That now has DeSantis sitting atop many people’s wish list for 2024.

And speaking of 2024, those Republican hopefuls that chose to go mute during this time should just shut up four years from now. Voters are not going to forget who folded and who stood up and demanded accountability for some of the current insanity going on in these states still counting votes.

Whether the GOP establishment likes it or not, that’s the truth as we head into a possible new, post-Trump era. Things are not going back to what they were during the Obama administration. Republican voters have gotten used to having a politician who fights for them and their wants. Right now, Republican voters want everything possible done to ensure the current election is decided fairly. A big part of that is driving the narrative by speaking out.

Ron DeSantis and Josh Hawley did it without being prompted earlier today. Ted Cruz also made some forceful comments. Nikki Haley put a statement out after the backlash started, which shows she’s at least smart enough to take the hint.

Meanwhile, Lindsey Graham hasn’t made a statement in over 24 hours. That’s a mistake on his part, though he may no longer have his eyes on the presidency as he did in past cycles. Where’s Tim Scott? Larry Hogan? Anyone sitting on the sidelines now shouldn’t be expected to be put in the game in four years. Republican voters are not going to forget, and there’s a litany of figures in right-wing media that will make sure they don’t forget.

Even if Trump is no longer the standard bearer for the party, his legacy will permeate for a very long time. That means fighting with every tool available is a requirement for any Republican wanting their star to rise to be considered for something more than they currently are. Ron DeSantis, among others, gets that, and it’s why he’s near the top of many short-lists right now. He was also outspoken during the worst parts of COVID, defending his state’s response. That’s what voters want to see. They don’t want to see good faith extended to a party that spent the last four years calling Donald Trump illegitimate because he “stole” the election. No Democrat official in Pennsylvania or Michigan should be trusted.

Speak now or shut up in four years.

A little friendly advice

Learn from the mistakes of the foolish, undisciplined Resistance.
Now is the time for cool calculation, not unhinged fury.

As the battle rages on and we learn more about the level of cheating and fraud taking place in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and even Georgia, I thought I’d take a moment this morning to offer you guys a little friendly advice.

In fact, this friendly advice is brought to you by Michael Corleone from The Godfather Part III.

Michael’s hot-head nephew Vincent is angrily spouting off and making threats, and Michael says to him, “Never let anyone know what you’re thinking.” Which is the same friendly advice the Godfather gave to Vincent’s father Sonny in the first movie.

Only he told Sonny “Never let anyone outside of the family know what you’re thinking.”

Right now as we face an uphill battle against an enemy that will do anything to gain power, this friendly advice from the Corleones is timely.

While there is much that disgusted me about the so-called ResistanceLOL, the one thing about them that played in our favor was their complete inability to keep their emotions in check.

We always knew exactly what they were thinking because the slack-jawed fools couldn’t stop wearing their thoughts and feelings on their sleeves.

You had the lunatics who would film themselves screeching, crying and angrily making vows of revenge then posting those unhinged video screeds on social media.

Then there were the Hollywood celebrities and blue checkmark Leftists who treated Twitter like their therapist – divulging to the entire world every unhealthy thought or murderous fantasy that stomped through their heads.

They “screamed helplessly at the sky.”

They carried on like lunatics while screaming in the faces of Trump supporters and driving them out of restaurants, coffee shops, stores and every public place.

The ResistanceLOL made folk heroes of the most unhinged and ludicrous members of Congress who shared this inability to play it cool.

The media ResistanceLOL went completely insane live on television night after night – spewing hateful rhetoric, openly attacking ordinary Americans while accusing us of every sin under the sun.

All of this was a massive mistake on the part of the ResistanceLOL.

Never let anyone know what you’re thinking. This gives your enemy far too much power over you.

Had the ResistanceLOL played it as cool as Corleone for the last four years, I’m thinking this election would have gone very differently. Biden would’ve secured an indisputable victory on Tuesday, the Democrat majority in the House would have expanded further, and Chuck Schumer would be the new Senate Majority Leader.

But the ResistanceLOL didn’t have the cold calculation of the Corleones. They let their opponents know exactly what they were thinking — every day and at maximum, unhinged volume.

They wore their hatred and derangement like red Handmaid cloak for the world to see.

As a result, Tuesday normal Americans rejected their brand of crazy and chiseled away at the House majority, held the Senate and prevented Biden from capturing a landslide victory.

In the end, the ResistanceLOL was its own worst enemy.

Back to my friendly advice.

What’s happening right now isn’t just unfair, it is criminal. We are watching in real time an effort to undermine our free and fair elections. The fraud and cheating is so in your face, it’s impossible to ignore.

Sure, we could take the ResistanceLOL route and try to burn the whole place down while we scream helplessly at the sky and voice every enraged thought that goes stomping through our heads.

Or we can play it cool as a Corleone.

We knew what we were up against before the election. We knew the media and big tech would place a thumb on the scale. And we knew the Democrat machines in blue cities would exploit the push for mail-in ballots in order to cheat.

The Trump campaign knew it as well — which is why lawyers were deployed before the polls even closed.

I’m not saying don’t be angry. Be angry. But be smart. Never let anyone know what you’re thinking. Don’t give them ammunition; instead, keep your powder dry.

One of the other things Michael tells Vincent is this: “Never hate your enemies; it affects your judgment.” And we need to keep a clear head.

Learn from the mistakes of the foolish, undisciplined ResistanceLOL.

Don’t be a hot-head; be as cold and calculating as a Corleone.

That’s my friendly advice to you.

You can take it or leave it.

But I hope you’ll take it.
