Dangerous Talk From Stupid People

Understand that when someone tells you he wants you dead, he wants you dead.

And that’s a very dangerous thing to want, because the intended victim gets a say, and he may start saying the same thing about you. I could talk about walking through the wrecked villages of Kosovo – villages that had mostly belonged to the Serbs who started the civil war then lost it – but that is probably going to be lost on the pampered and parochial left. History, be it modern Balkans or ancient, such as the cautionary tale that was the decline and fall of the Roman Republic, is something they are too smart to bother studying. They know what they think and what they want and they can’t be bothered with pests nagging them about how their paucity of wisdom could very well set into motion events they cannot control and that are unlikely to turn out in the way they hope.

We saw a lot of it – a lot of it – in response to the president’s pangolin pandemic diagnosis. Wishing that your opponent dies of a disease is pretty bad, but some go beyond the passive voice when hoping for our deaths. They seek to do it. Exhibit A is tech overlord Dick Costolo, a former Twitter CEO apparently, who tweeted on September 30^th, “Me-first capitalists who think you can separate society from business are going to be the first people lined up against the wall and shot in the revolution. I'll happily provide video commentary.” So Dick, which by coincidence also happens to also be your name, you want to play horsey, huh?

I guess casually cheering the murder of political opponents gets you some guffaws from your pals in Palo Alto cafes. But those of us who have ventured outside of the carefully constructed (and costly, in terms of sweat and blood) safe space that is the United States, and who get that the natural state of man is not driving Teslas and sipping bespoke Napa Chardonnay in prosperous, secure enclaves with one’s liberal cronies, know better. People who cheerlead political murder tend to be people who will support political murder given the chance to make it happen.

One challenge for the dilettantes of death is to find the people who would actually commit political murder for them, but money and institutional inertia make that possible. As we have seen, woke zillionaires can fund their own lil’ revolutionaries. They are the ones behind Antifa, and if Donald Trump is reelected, we will likely see the DoJ (once Trump rids himself of the worse than useless FBI Director Christopher Wray, who never met self-serving establishment narrative he didn’t eagerly hump like a horny dog rubbing on the nearest leg) forced by Bill Barr to concede that this is an Astroturfed RICO conspiracy paid for by rich leftists. Yet, Antifa is not a combat organization (unless you are one person surrounded by a dozen of these brownshirts) but an information operation asset.

The real goal is control of the institutions that have combat power – the police, federal law enforcement, and the military. That’s where they can find people willing to kill, and maybe die, to impose the elites will. The cops, agents, and soldiers they dream of coopting to be their caste’s personal Gestapo and Wehrmacht provide the bodies who would actually do the dirty work – as Dick made clear when he said out loud what he is too smug and dumb to know he should have kept quiet, that he and the other tourist revolutionaries intend to be eager spectators to the gory unpleasantness that always accompanies a leftist revolution (“I'll happily provide video commentary.”). Hijacking the government, and using loyalty to the country and co-opting the ingrained sense of duty in our cops and warriors as a means to manipulate them into being the enforcement mechanism for the tyranny the elite left dreams of imposing is the goal.

Remember, when someone says he wants you dead, he wants you dead. And the people who want you dead here in the USA intend to use the people you currently rely upon to keep you safe and secure as the means to do it. It’s actually quite cunning – if they can keep the cops, agents and soldiers in line. We’ve already seen lots of cops putting pensions over honor as they hassle citizens for mask crimes. The high-ranking Obama officer corps has already sold its collective soul for a handful of stars, and lots of colonels and generals would gleefully set their forces on uppity citizens – not rioters, but people like you – to please their Democrat masters. When the Biden administration orders the cops and agents, and maybe soldiers, to imprison or kill gun owners, the uniformed flinkies will be expected to spill blood if necessary, because when you send government officials with weapons to enforce a law, whether to bust a guy peddling loose Marlboros or to confiscate AR15s, you have to assume that a certain number of those encounters will end with dead citizens. And to folks like Dick, that casualty count is a feature and not a bug.

But the Dicks of the elite are spoiled and soft and while this all seems like fun and games to them, with somebody else doing the murdering, they don’t realize that history holds that the status quo doesn’t remain in effect for everyone else when one group decides to alter it to its advantage. That is the plan – the establishment, outraged at the people who held them accountable for their legacy of failure, incompetence, and corruption by electing Donald Trump and a Republican Senate, intend to alter the status quo to ensure that this outrage never happens again. They intend to add states to increase their leverage. They intend to change voting laws to allow cheating and impose “campaign finance laws” that will be enforced against your candidates but not against establishment candidates to ensure there are no more troublesome populist alternatives. They intend, using tech companies and big corporations, to impose thought control and punish dissenters by cutting them off from access to the routine modes of living in this society – social media, banking, transportation, education. They intend to pass laws to disarm you so the ultimate failsafe of freedom is negated. And they intend to pack the Supreme Court to ensure they can’t be stopped by that pesky Constitution. 

But they will expect you to remain static and to respect and obey as if nothing has changed. You must be loyal to the institutions that betrayed you because…well, that’s unclear. Perhaps they hope you’ll just keep going along as if nothing is different out of habit, or from fear of losing what little they have left to you.

Remember those cops busting moms in parks because they don’t want to miss out on their pensions?

Yet, the notion that Americans will wake up one morning, see that they are no longer free, shrug, obediently line up to turn in their Remingtons and Mossbergs and reconcile themselves to serfdom is not in the cards. It is not just an American thing either. Look at the machinations of the factions in the Roman Republic and you see that one side gets the reins for a while, then soon another is in the saddle. The unspoken promise of Biden is to end history, that they will do whatever they have to do to ensure that their progressive dreams are never again disturbed by some disruptive force like a Donald Trump (who is simply an avatar for normal people’s desire to live free and respected). 

But history doesn’t work like that. The oppressed react, and dummies like Dick don’t get that it is not a done deal that his side will always be writing the proscription lists posted in the Forum instead of appearing upon them.

It never occurs to them that the rules they want to get rid of because they seem inconvenient are there to protect them too. So, while we can’t stop them from trying to blindly stumble down this deadly path, perhaps on November 3^rd we can stop them from actually being able to pull it off for another four years. Maybe a good, solid defeat will make them rethink their path, but don’t bet on it. These people are as solid as a rock in terms of their adherence to their bizarre and evil ideology, and they are as dumb as a rock in terms of what history teaches. These are bad people who wish you ill. Be ready, because the simple truth is that when someone tells you he wants you dead, he wants you dead.

Secy. of State Pompeo briefed President Trump on national security

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he’s keeping the President up-to-speed on national security despite his COVID-19 diagnosis. While speaking to reporters before his trip to Japan on Sunday, Pompeo said he was able to brief the President and his entire national security team.

 

 

President Trump held a phone conversation with the secretary and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from Walter Reed Medical Center. Pompeo said not only was the President in “good spirits,” but the U.S. remains fully prepared in what “rogue actors” might find to be a vulnerable state.

“This is a team, I’ve been working for this President for almost four years now to say this is a team that is mature and capable,” stated the Secretary of State. “We know there’s rogue actors, we know there are malign actors around the world…the United States is fully prepared, both the State Department, our diplomats.”

Pompeo also noted leaders from across the globe reached out to offer their well wishes for the first couple.

Mark Levin lays out the challenge facing us in the next four weeks

On his weekly prime time Fox News channel program yesterday evening, tireless conservative talk show host and best-selling author Mark Levin summarized the challenge that the nation faces in Election 2020 in four short weeks. The guest on Life, Liberty & Levin (8 P.M. E.T./P.T.) was Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex), who discussed his new book One Vote Away: How a Single Supreme Court Seat Can Change History and other topics of current relevance. The program was recorded last Thursday before it was announced that President Trump had tested positive for Covid-19.

Levin took the last two minutes of the program to lay it out in his usual concise, articulate, and compelling way the enormity of the importance of the coming election. In 353 words, it was a stirring clarion call to patriots who want to save America. I posted a video clip of Levin’s comments at a tweet which can be viewed by everyone even without a Twitter account.

With a sense of extreme urgency and rising emotion, Levin laid out his argument.

This is our country. This is our election. Everything’s on the table here. The Democrats want to change this country. They want to turn it into a post-constitutional, post-republican type of society. Bernie Sanders’s agenda is on the table. They’re telling us – they’re telling us what they are going to do, they are not hiding it from us. They’re going to burn down the Supreme Court by packing it. This was tried before; it was denounced before. They’re going to do it!

They’re going to add four Democrat Senators to the Senate. Why? Because they’re going to have the power to do it. They are going to change the way we legislate so nothing can be slowed down – nothing can stop them.

They want to change our electoral process so only Democrats are represented in Congress, only Democrats have power to elect a president. Rural areas, suburban areas, the areas of the country that produce the food, that produce the energy will have no representation.

This isn’t a joke. This is as serious as a heart attack! This is what the election’s about. The 1619 Project – it exists to destroy the minds of our kids, to brainwash them against this country. You see what’s happened in the streets. They don’t even acknowledge – the presidential nominee of the Democrat Party doesn’t even acknowledge the existence of Antifa – a Marxist, anarchist organization that says it wants to destroy our country and burns our streets.

No – this election is a big deal. If you’re still on the fence, I don’t know what kind of fence you’re sitting on, and if you’re leaning towards Joe Biden – he says “I am the Democrat Party” – he ain’t kidding. If you’re leaning towards Joe Biden, this is what you’re going to get.

There’s a reason why he won’t tell you whether or not he supports stuffing the Supreme Court because he does. There’s a reason he won’t tell you about the nominees that he has in mind because they’re radicals.

This election is crucial. Are you Thomas Paine? Are you Paul Revere? Now is the time to speak up.

Pope Francis goes full communist

In an encyclical published on Sunday, Pope Francis announced that he’d had an epiphany thanks to the Wuhan virus: It’s time to ditch capitalism. But that’s not all. He believes, too, that in a time of a serious infectious disease, we should focus even harder on open borders.  And he blithely upended almost two millennia of Church doctrine by doing away with St. Augustine’s “just war” theory.

These actions reflect Francis’s Catholic upbringing within the communist “liberation theology” of the Latin American church. They may also show the effects of his ongoing alliance with Chinese communists and with Muslims.

Fox Business sums up the gist of Francis’s communist dreams (emphasis mine):

“Aside from the differing ways that various countries responded to the crisis, their inability to work together became quite evident,” Francis wrote. “Anyone who thinks that the only lesson to be learned was the need to improve what we were already doing, or to refine existing systems and regulations, is denying reality.”

He cited the grave loss of millions of jobs as a result of the virus as evidence of the need for politicians to listen to popular movements, unions and marginalized groups and to craft more just social and economic policies.

“The fragility of world systems in the face of the pandemic has demonstrated that not everything can be resolved by market freedom,” he wrote. “It is imperative to have a proactive economic policy directed at ‘promoting an economy that favours productive diversity and business creativity’ and makes it possible for jobs to be created, and not cut.”’

As an outgrowth of that, Francis rejected the concept of an absolute right to property for individuals, stressing instead the “social purpose” and common good that must come from sharing the Earth’s resources. He repeated his criticism of the “perverse” global economic system, which he said consistently keeps the poor on the margins while enriching the few — an argument he made most fully in his 2015 landmark environmental encyclical “Laudato Sii” (Praised Be).

I know from experience that, when people read what Francis wrote, many will say that the church has always been socialist in orientation. That’s untrue. Jesus distinguished the realm of faith from the political realm. When he spoke of giving up property, he was speaking to individuals, not calling for communism.

Francis also fails to recognize that our current economic problems aren’t because the free market failed. They’re because leftists slammed the brakes on the free market.

The Pope used this encyclical to reiterate his endless push to erase borders:

Much of the new encyclical repeats Francis’ well-known preaching about the need to welcome and value migrants and his rejection of the nationalistic, isolationist policies of many of today’s political leaders.

Lastly, the Pope seeks something he calls a greater “human fraternity.” In doing so, he relies upon a document he composed with the grand imam of Egypt’s Al-Azhar.

The Pope is perhaps too naïve to recognize that, in Islam, the house of fraternity and peace (Dar al-Islam) is a world in which everyone is Islamic. Outside of the Islamic world is the world of war (Dar al-Harb), and every faithful Muslim must wage jihad to achieve that “peaceful,” fraternal world. Or, as Tacitus wrote when quoting Calgacus, a Caledonian who fought Rome’s imperial reach, “they [the Romans] make a desert and call it peace.”

Pope Francis, bathed in ahistorical ignorance, also concluded that there can be no “just wars”:

“It is very difficult nowadays to invoke the rational criteria elaborated in earlier centuries to speak of the possibility of a ‘just war,’” Francis wrote in the most controversial new element of the encyclical.

Both the Chinese and the Islamists must be delighted to read those words. Hitler would have liked them too. Had Frances been in the Papacy during WWII, all of Europe would have been enslaved to Germany, and all Jews, not just six million, would have been slaughtered. Homosexuals, gypsies, people with mental and physical disabilities, and anyone else that the Germans dehumanized would have also found their way to the gas chambers.

As with everything he’s done since attaining the papal throne, Frances intends to undo all of the good work that the great John Paul II did in pursuit of human freedom and dignity.

‘The Hill’ inadvertently explains why the left fears Amy Coney Barrett

Since November 9, 2016, the day after Trump was elected, the leftists who now make up the American Democrat party have been in a non-stop tizzy. They have proven incapable of accepting that they lost at the ballot box and have used every underhanded and lunatic tactic available to evict Trump from the White House. For many of these initiatives, they’ve had the Supreme Court helping them out. That will end when Amy Coney Barrett joins the Court. Her presence creates a conservative majority that will be an insurmountable barrier to leftists’ more overreaching demands

I already wrote about Vox’s Ezra Klein saying that leftists need to do away with the filibuster to get any legislation passed. That is an open admission that slightly less than half the country does not approve of what the hard-left Democrat party wants to do. Passing legislation that almost half the country deeply opposes is a recipe for disaster. That's why we have a filibuster, for it gets a majority of the country – through their representatives – on board with big (and even little) changes.

Now The Hill, which is ostensibly a more centrist publication than Vox (it isn’t really, but that’s its reputation), is admitting that, if Biden wins, and the Democrats take the Senate, Amy Coney Barrett is a problem:

The Supreme Court is looming as a roadblock for Democrats as they plot an ambitious wish list if they gain control of the White House and Congress for the first time in a decade. 

Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s ascension to the Supreme Court, which Republicans hope to finalize this month, would lock in a conservative majority likely for decades, setting the courts up as a potential foil for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s agenda and Democratic leadership in the House and Senate. 

The result of a 6-3 court, Democrats warn, could lead to the justices striking down a host of top priorities for the party, including health care, voting rights legislation or enacting stricter background checks for gun purchases. 

In other words, Democrats understand that their initiatives are almost uniformly unconstitutional. However, since the 1950s, a primarily activist Supreme Court has given these unconstitutional laws a pass. With Barrett on board, though, the Court finally will serve (as it has long been meant to) as a roadblock to ideas that don’t comport with the Constitution.

In 1819, in McCulloch v. Maryland, Chief Justice John Marshall established the principle that the Supreme Court would determine whether challenged laws comported with the constitution. If they did, they could stand; if they did not, the court would strike them down.

Under the Marshall metric, the Supreme Court does not exist to make laws. Its primary purpose is to determine whether laws pass constitutional muster. This is sensible because Congress, which holds the people’s elected representatives, exists to make the laws.

Beginning with 1954's Brown v. Board of Education, the case that ended school segregation, the Court began to create principles that do not exist in the Constitution to uphold laws advancing principles it liked and strike down laws with principles it did not favor. The only way to do this was to say that the Constitution is a “living document” that can be read in whichever way the activist justices want.

Thus, a strict constructionist court does not assert its conservative ideas. This distinguishes it from the activist court of the last seventy years. Put another way, strict constructionist and activist judges are not mirror images of each other, with each using the bench to advance different political ideologies. The strict constructionists hew to a theory that goes back 200 years; the activists hark back to the  mid-1950s.

The most egregious example of the activist philosophy is Roe v. Wade, which used emanations and penumbras to find a magical constitutional right to abortion. There were, in fact, two correct legal choices, the judges didn’t like either.

One choice was to say that the Constitution does not address abortion, making it a matter for the individual states under the Tenth Amendment. The other was to say that the Fifth Amendment establishes that the government cannot deprive people of life without due process of law. At some arguable point in an unborn baby’s development (ranging from conception to viability), abortion violates the baby’s right to life. The activist court, however, opted to wing it.

Having seen what the activist court did with abortion, conservatives have long feared what an activist Court could do to the Second Amendment. Barrett’s presence on the Court, though, puts the brakes on an activist Court’s efforts to dance around that explicit right.

The sum of the above information is that, even if the Democrats do away with the filibuster and pass laws with a bare majority, their laws cannot stand up to constitutional scrutiny. The strict constructionist Court won’t try to re-write the laws to make them work, or find imaginary rights where none exist. Instead, like Roman emperors asked to decide the fate of a gladiator in the Colosseum, the justices will give the “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” to the laws, based not on their personal moral views, but on the Constitution’s objective standard.

Liberals Don’t Want To Eliminate Police—They Want To Turn Them Into Progressive Hall Monitors

Democrats support a perverted kind of law and order. It’s not about protecting and serving or punishing the criminal. It’s all about enforcing their will and punishing their enemies.

Police committed a serious outrage against a law-abiding citizen last week. Rioters in Los Angeles blocked off busy city streets, leaving many motorists with nowhere to turn. A driver of a white Prius decided to slowly and carefully drive through the protesters. He managed to hit no one and his car passed through with relative ease. But rioters chased him down and blocked his car with another vehicle. They then smashed the driver’s windows, pried open his door, and attempted to drag him out of his car. The hapless driver thankfully managed to get away. 

Police eventually got involved—and arrested the driver.

The LAPD later told the press they didn’t arrest the driver—they only “detained” him. A clever bit of Newspeak indeed! Police said they were still looking into the motorist as part of a possible hit-and-run investigation. Footage captured by a local news helicopter, however, clearly shows the driver was in the right and the mob was in the wrong. Yet no arrests were made against the real aggressors.

The story encapsulates the sad reality of life in modern America. Police are held back from enforcing the law against real criminals while they are zealously utilized against law-abiding citizens. Whether it’s a scared motorist trying to get away from the mob or a mother not wearing a mask on a playground, police will arrest you if you violate progressive codes. Meanwhile, the same liberal politicians demand police do nothing about anarchists who throw Molotov cocktails at law enforcement or looters who beat business owners protecting their property.

It’s called anarcho-tyranny—and it’s our future under Democratic control.

We’ve all heard how many on the Left want to defund the police. They’ve even told us they really mean it. Minneapolis City Council went ahead and defunded its police force—a decision the council now deeply regrets. While some voices on the Left do want to abolish the police, the prevailing wind is to wish for the transformation of the police. In spite of all their bluster about police brutality, liberals still need cops to enforce their policies. 

Liberals want police to prioritize arresting their political enemies and enforcing their will on the public.

Joe Biden certainly wants to use the police in this way. He emphatically declared he would issue a nationwide mask mandate as soon as he assumes office (a declaration he later had to soften slightly). Biden and his Democratic enforcers are not going to use social workers to ensure this gets enforced. They will call on the police. 

The administration will also need the police to enforce gun control and Kamala Harris’ pledge to prosecute Trump. Police will still exist in Biden’s America—it’s just they will be used more against law-abiding citizens than criminals.

As Mark McCloskey said in his RNC speech: “It seems as if the Democrats no longer view the government’s job as protecting honest citizens from criminals but rather protecting criminals from honest citizens.” 

There are sadly too many examples of this already. Police arrested Christians in Moscow, Idaho, last week for failing to properly adhere to social distancing guidelines at an outside worship event. Police tased and arrested an Ohio woman for not wearing a mask in the stands at a middle school football game. Nashville police now arrest citizens who fail to wear masks in the city’s downtown area. In April, a father was arrested for playing catch with his daughter in a New York park.

People who stand up to the mobs also have to worry about being arrested. Most readers know about Kyle Rittenhouse and how he is charged with first-degree murder for defending himself against violent leftists. Most readers also know about the McCloskeys and how they were initially charged for defending their St. Louis home against a violent mob. There are many others like them. 

Jake Gardner was a Nebraska bar owner who took his own life after he was charged with manslaughter for defending his business against violent marauders in May. Milwaukee police arrested a Trump-supporting homeowner last month for daring to show his gun to rioters who threatened his property. A New Mexico man was arrested and charged for shooting a leftist who attacked him at a protest over a conquistador statue.

All of these outrages are occurring while authorities release the leftists responsible for turning Portland into an anarchic dystopia.

Even though the Left wants to criminalize the act of calling the police on “people of color,” their model society requires a surveillance state of snitches and zealous authorities to rival any totalitarian dystopia. Citizens will monitor each other to see if they wear their face masks or say “hateful” things that warrant them losing their right to bear arms. Police will be right there to enforce these draconian laws.

Democrats support a perverted kind of law and order. It’s no longer “to serve and protect” citizens or even to punish criminals. It’s all about enforcing their will and punishing their enemies. The normal citizen gets screwed while the criminal walks away without even having to pay bail. 

The ordinary cop won’t like it, but the guy patrolling the streets doesn’t get a say. The politicians in power do—and they need cops to uphold anarcho-tyranny.

The Plan for the Next Trump-Biden Debate

To win the next debate, all the president 

has to do is stick to three objectives.

Donald Trump is one of the most robust people I have ever met. At 74, he is healthier and more energetic than most people half his age. I am not worried about his health. As we all wish him and the first lady a speedy and full recovery from the Chinese virus, it is imperative to not let the latest COVID-19 news distract us from the task at hand: his reelection and stopping the radical Left.

I worked for the president in the White House, and now I’m an appointee on one of his Defense Department boards but I cannot let that affect my analysis of his first presidential debate with Joe Biden. On the contrary, I feel duty-bound to tell him and his team what I truly thought about it. 

It was a shambolic disaster. And both the president and his team must learn from it, now.

First things first, so I offer praise where praise is due.

For the life of me, I cannot fathom the level of grace and self-control demonstrated by President Trump. Biden, who has been presented to us as the aw-shucks affable “Uncle Joe” called the president a “racist,” a “clown” and told him to “shut up” in front of an audience of some 73 million people. And he took it in his stride and refused to take the bait. I wouldn’t have and neither would millions of lesser politicians.

What is worse, “moderator” Chris Wallace did nothing, didn’t censure Biden for this outrageous behavior, or in any meaningful way maintain any pretense of impartiality.

In addition to consistently interrupting the president as he was answering the questions set, Wallace, a registered Democrat, decided to repeat a three-year-old libel about the president’s Charlottesville comments, despite it being debunked conclusively, again and again. That is why Wallace was lambasted by even his Fox News colleagues the day after the “debate.” And rightly so.

But forget the insults and blown decorum. Disgracefully, Wallace did absolutely nothing when Biden repeatedly denied the established fact that his son has received millions and billions of dollars from Ukrainian, Russian, and Communist Chinese state interests. Biden called these stories “discredited,” despite them being a matter of record in the U.S. Senate. Wallace let him get away with it.

Nevertheless, and despite the president’s self-control in the face of attacks that would have triggered most other men, he did not win any new voters that night because his prep team did not serve him well. His talking points were mostly well-worn retreads, with only one real zinger of a riposte being “I’ve done more in 47 months than you did in 47 years Joe!” Given his incredible record domestically and internationally, this was a wasted opportunity in front of a vast audience, including millions of likely independent voters.

Politically, the only significant consequence of the 90-minute brawl was the president successfully forcing Biden to disown Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and her extremist “Green New Deal,” a stunning turn that will cause internal issues for a Biden who declared himself “the Democratic Party” in a manner guaranteed to alienate not only AOC’s cultic Gaia-worshipping groupies but also all the anti-establishment “Bernie Bros.”

And for the record, Biden was lying or suffering from senility when the president forced him to disown the disastrous plan, given that his own website states: “Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face.” It seems Biden doesn’t understand that anyone can check his claims against his own website.  

Yet, in the big scheme of things, last Tuesday’s hot mess was not strategically important. The president’s first debate with Hillary Clinton likewise did not go well for Team MAGA. But we are a month away from an election that could bring an extremist, socialist party to power, and as a result we need a plan for Round Two. 

So, God-willing, if the president is cleared after his 10-day period of isolation, he must debate Biden in front of former Biden intern/moderator Steve Scully, and he must be prepared and keep it simple. If he does, he will win with ease. All President Trump has to do is stick to three objectives:

• He must link Biden and the Democrats—whom Biden insists he now leads—inextricably to the violence, looting, arson, and deaths we have witnessed across Democrat cities since George Floyd was killed.
• He must simply inform those who haven’t been told by the legacy media about all the incredible successes of his first term. From crushing ISIS, to the historic pre-COVID economy, to slashing prescription drug pricing, to taking on China and revitalizing America’s industrial base.
• Simply through a recitation of documented facts, he must expose Biden for what he truly is: one of the most corrupt machine politicians still active today—a man who has enriched himself and his family with money from our sworn enemies, and who systematically has betrayed the working-class Americans he has professed to represent for 47 years. 

Nothing more, nothing less. 

Then it won’t be a brawl—it will be a righteous and elegant victory for the president.

Number 1 With a Bullet: Americans Keep Their Gun Grab Going, but Some Companies Are Shooting Blanks

The nation’s run on guns amid a pandemic and criminal chaos is curious. I suspect more than conservatives are lining up for a handled hunk of heat to defeat whatever bad might come callin’.

Despite massive media messaging, masses of Americans have made up their minds: The best defense against a gun is the same, not laws inked by a Democrat’s pen.

Many on the side of gun control appear to present things thusly: There are pistols and rifles in the world, and they’re murderous tools; no current law dematerializes the threat. Pass the obvious law, Presto Change-O, all that crime disappears.

Oddly, there’s rarely an MSM mention of the fact that gun murders remain below a threshold because would-be victims have guns, too. And that gun laws will only disarm those innocents.

But some people clearly have run the numbers. Hence, in uber-Left Los Angeles, overwhelmed firearms stores have resorted to an appointment-only system.

And if you’ve looked online lately, bullets are hard to find.

In fact, as reported by AZFamily.com, the purchasing punch packs such potency, an Arizona ammo manufacturer is “facing an $80.1 million backlog amid record demand…”

Ammo International CEO Fred Wagenhals told CBS5 they’re firing away:

“We’re working right now seven days a week, 24 hours a day in all the manufacturing plants.”

The company’s no small potato — it has facilities in AZ as well as Wisconsin.

AI’s recently made a major acquisition in an effort to catch up with all brand spanking gun nuts:

“We just bought 2.8 million dollars worth of machinery and equipment last week to increase our production and increase our volume.”

If you’re wondering about the caliber of the surge, here’s a stunning stat from the National Shooting Sports Foundation: The first half of 2020 saw gun sales up 95% compared to the same time last year.

It’s no hollow point: In 2019, Democrats were selling gun confiscation. Now the country’s both-barreling in a Bullet Bonanza.

When people can get ’em, that is — per The Daily Wire, from last year to this, ammo purchases are up 139%.

Of course, all this talk of a surge is nothing new — as I covered in August, “July saw an estimated 1,795,602 firearms sold. That’s a new national record, a 133% increase compared to last year.”

It was the fifth consecutive month to make gun sales history.

In September, giant Smith & Wesson said it was going to “maximum capacity” to try and keep up.

And perhaps an explosion of demand isn’t merely due to the aforementioned mayhem.

CEO Fred reckons another component is triggering sales — one that’s squarely in citizens’ sights:

“[T]here was always that fear of the election. Of who’s going to be elected of the next President of the United States.”

I think he’s right on target. And then some:

“We’re a $200 million company in the next 18 – 24 months.”

And the way we’re going, it might take you that long acquire ammunition.
