The Restoration Alliance

Link to Graphic with Explanation HERE

When we see that justice is measured, not by due process, but by compulsion (Mike Flynn); when we see that in order to invoke our sixth amendment right to due process, we need to obtain permission from men who rebuke the constitution (FISA Court); when we see that justice is determined by those who leverage, not in law, but in politics (James Comey); when we see that men get power over individual liberty by graft and by scheme (Robert Mueller), and our representatives don’t protect us against them, but protect them against us (SSCI); when we see corruption holding influence and individual liberty so easily dispatched and nullified (Eric Holder); we may well know that our freedom too is soon to perish…
This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible.
Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.
But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.
And when we are gone, the scattered, free survivors hiding in the ruins of our once-great republic will sing of our deeds in forbidden songs, tending the flickering flame of individual liberty until it bursts forth again, as it must, generations later.
We will live forever, like the Spartans at Thermopylae, in sacred memory….

Big Govt Publishes New Cooling Standards: Thermostat Should Be Set to 82 Degrees When Sleeping

Fresh from the same Dept. of Energy and EPA that gave us: toilets that don’t flush; light bulbs that don’t light; dishwashers that don’t wash; plant-based fuel that burns like carrots; and paper straws that dissolve in liquid….  Now we get this:

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2019/08/19/big-govt-publishes-new-cooling-standards-thermostat-should-be-set-to-82-degrees-when-sleeping/

[…] Energy Star, the federal program from the DOE and the Environmental Protection Agency, said the coolest you should keep your home is 78 degrees when you’re home.

When you’re at work or away, the program recommends setting it at 85 degrees. When you’re sleeping, Energy Star said to set the thermostat at 82 degrees. (link)
Setting the thermostat at 82° at night is well recognized grounds for divorce. I swear these administrative state progressives are going to have us force-fed sustainable algae cakes if this keeps up.

Some journalist-type person published these new cooling standards on twitter, and the responses are quite funny.
“I see we’ve decided to give up on sleeping. Or going home for that matter. Or having pets that aren’t native to the rain forest.” (link)

“I’ve already embraced a dying Earth, so I keep my central air between 67-72 at all times.” (link)

“I’d be laying there making a giant sweat angel in my bed” (link)

“New report shows these as the recommended temps for smelling like an onion.” (link)

I have no idea how my ancestors survived deserts. If the thermostat in my house showed a number that started with an 8 I would call the police” (link)

But seriously…. given the track record for current energy efficient standards and how they end up being actually applied to life (toilets, dishwashers, lightbulbs etc.) it’s darned frightening to think the Feds believe 78° (when home), 85° (when away) and 82° (when sleeping) is a reasonable cooling standard.

Insta-misery; aka living in hell.

Watch out California….  Pretty soon you might not have options when the proletariat mandates the installation of compliance regulators inside the A/C system.

U.K. PM Boris Johnson Planning Brexit Face-to-Face With Macron and Merkel…

Operation Fear” is the globalist, multicultural, left-wing operation aimed at trying to stop Brexit by any means necessary.   The promoters of Operation Fear include almost all EU and British media along with U.S. political EU allies such as Nancy Pelosi, the Big Club Republicans, Wall Street multinationals and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
We are moments away from watching all of the U.S. Democrat presidential candidates deliver their narrative enhancement aimed at supporting the collectivist argument.  No  threat is as significant to their ideological interests as deglobalization, nationalism and the sovereign respect for self-determination.

Against the October 31st Brexit deadline, Operation Fear is about to go into fully weaponized narrative distribution.  Predictably the deployment will likely be the largest psychological war carried out in the modern era.
Understanding how Operation Fear is carried out in Sept/Oct will prepare U.S. voters for a similar deployment in the 2020 presidential race.  As a consequence what is about to happen in Great Britain is well worth paying close attention to.

PREDICTIONS:
♦U.S. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has already planted her flag of Brexit opposition around the Ireland -vs- Northern Ireland border.  It’s a disingenuous position; transparently a ridiculous excuse; but that allows her to give the appearance of not interfering while the actual her objective is ABSOLUTELY to interfere.
♦The corporate leftist social media will also engage.   Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and similar media sites will begin pushing down (or eliminating) pro-Brexit content, and pushing up the anti-British pro-EU positions across all engagement.  The objective will be to give the impression that Brexit is not supported.
For the historic reader, you will find strong parallels to the Soviet propaganda campaign around Polish independence and the Solidarity Movement.  In this era the Social Media groups will play the role of the soviet propagandists, and British citizens will metaphorically be the Poles.

♦Hopefully Nigel Farage and/or the Brexit party have proactive rallies planned where the Brits can assemble and publicly show the scale of their support. [*Hint*Hint*] Openly visible public support is the easiest way to refute the media propaganda narrative. [See Trump rallies circa 2016 throughout]  It is harder for the psy-op engineers to refute what is openly visible to the eye and ear.
♦ Mainstream media activity around Brexit in September/October is where we are likely to see the approach deployed in the U.S. for the 2020 election.  They’ll likely be developing strategies and testing out which social engineering approaches work best.

♦Internet Service Providers throughout Europe, but especially in the U.K., will play a significant role in Sept/Oct deployment of the leftist plan behind “Operation Fear”.
Anticipate widespread manipulation of internet travel based on the ISP provider network and subscription.  The networks will block content that is adverse to Operation Fear, and in some cases will direct -or redirect- the internet user to content far away from the intended destination.
♦Search engines like Google will have operators and engineers working 24/7 to specifically maintain and deploy algorithms intended to impede any search query that would be flagged as pro-Brexit.   Malware code will be inserted by the engineers at strategic times to disrupt website content adverse to their agenda.  The Brexit party content will be targeted for disruption, and elements within central government agencies will open doors for assistance therein.
It will be worthwhile to watch how all of the EU operations are carried out; and pay particular attention to the reports of the type of manipulation that we will see.  Being able to map all of the ideological efforts will allow us to formulate plans and strategies to avoid similar deployment when it takes place next year in the U.S.

MSNBC anchor on possible economic downturn:..

MSNBC anchor on possible economic downturn : 'About time we get a recession'

Bill Maher says a recession would be 'worth it' to get rid of Trump

Democratic strategist Zach Friend says it's totally inappropriate to root for a recession.
As the media ramps up speculation about a possible economic downturn under President Trump, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle said it's "about time" America experiences a recession after several years of financial growth.
“A recession is ok," Ruhle said Monday on "MSNBC Live with Hallie Jackson."
"A recession is a normal part of economic activity. We see them -- upturns and downturn[s].
"A recession doesn’t mean it’s a crisis. But if you’re a sitting president, you don’t necessarily want a recession... You want people feeling good," she continued. "But seeing that we have been in economic expansion for the better part of 10 years, it’s about time we get a recession."
Ruhle also claimed Trump has underdelivered on his promise of four to five percent growth and reiterated her point about a recession being perfectly normal.
"The fact that the Fed has already cut rates to try to extend this economic expansion, you think that would breathe more life into it -- and just remember, one of the reasons the economy has extended in positive growth for this long is the massive corporate tax cut that the president gave us a year and a half ago," she said. "He said that would result in GDP boom in business investment, three, four, five percent growth. We’re at 2.1 percent."
Ruhle added, "So when the president says this is the best economy ever, it’s not. And if we did face a recession, it would be normal and it would be ok."
Trump dismissed concerns about a recession while speaking to reporters on Sunday outside Marine One in Morristown, New Jersey and also tweeted about his confidence in the U.S. economy.
"Our economy is the best in the world, by far. Lowest unemployment ever within almost all categories. Poised for big growth after trade deals are completed. Import prices down, China eating Tariffs. Helping targeted Farmers from big Tariff money coming in. Great future for USA!" the president wrote.
White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow, echoed Trump's sentiments on “Fox News Sunday” this week and said he also doesn't foresee a recession on the horizon.

Wall Street rallies on stimulus cheer, trade optimism

(Reuters) – U.S. stocks surged on Monday, building on previous session’s rally, fueled by growing hopes that major economies would act to prop up slowing growth, while technology stocks got a lift from trade optimism.

China’s central bank unveiled a key interest rate reform on Saturday to help steer borrowing costs lower for companies, close on the heels of reports of a potential German economic easing.

After the three main Wall Street indexes racked up their third straight weekly loss despite Friday’s bounce, investors will look to weigh trade risks and signs of slowing growth against the potential for more action from the U.S. Federal Reserve and others in September. The focus this week will be on Wednesday’s release of minutes from the Fed’s July policy meeting, when the central bank cut rates for the first time in more than a decade, and Chair Jerome Powell’s speech at a central banks meeting in Jackson Hole on Friday.

“There is hope you are going to see some sort of stimulus by the United States … Some believe the selloff recently was a bit overdone,” said Scott Brown, chief economist at Raymond James in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Shares of Apple Inc provided the biggest boost to the three main Wall Street indexes. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he had spoken with Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook about the impact of U.S. tariffs.

“There is a recognition that this trade policy is having a negative impact on the economy. With the election coming up next year, there maybe an incentive to get these trade issues behind. Trump does seem to listen if the voices are loud enough,” Brown said.

Adding to the optimism around trade, Washington extended a reprieve given to Huawei Technologies that permits the Chinese firm to buy supplies from U.S. companies.

Tariff-sensitive chipmakers gained with the Philadelphia chip index <.SOX> up 2.06%.
At 11:06 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average <.DJI> was up 260.43 points, or 1.01%, at 26,146.44, the S&P 500 <.SPX> was up 34.36 points, or 1.19%, at 2,923.04. The Nasdaq Composite <.IXIC> was up 112.95 points, or 1.43%, at 8,008.95.

Ignorant Liberals Need To Go Visit America

It’s always good to occasionally leave deep blue west Los Angeles and visit the United States. When your congressjerk is Ted Lieu, you get a skewed perspective on the country as well as suffer continuous embarrassment.

My recent travels through parts of the country that aren’t populated and controlled almost exclusively by liberal nimrods gave me some hope for the future. America as a whole does not appear eager to become Scat Francisco.

The problem is the people who want to transform our entire country into a socialist open sewer know nothing of this country outside their reeking pinko enclaves.

It’s a very different country when you get between I-5 and I-95. People are generally nice. They smile and attempt to assist you, even when you display the insanity inherent in   your blue homeland. If you go to a restaurant and ask if they have a vegan, gluten-free keto alternative, they try to  help you and bring you a glass of water.

I rediscovered biscuits. Biscuits are good.

One thing they try to do is avoid politics, mostly because they have better things to do outside an election year. Politics is a necessary evil to Normal People. Unlike in Santa Monica, you see very few of the fraying Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit 2016 bumper stickers on the back  of lime green Priuses. You do see a lot of stickers reflecting an affinity for Jesus or some branch of the military. They like Christians in America, and they like vets. A huge number of people you meet are both. So, America is pretty much hell for the kind of leftist dweebs I’m normally surrounded by.

There was no talk of how guns are awful and how they need to be confiscated. Nor was anyone excited about letting the same folks who couldn’t keep Jeffrey Epstein from gacking himself take over our medical system. No one was upset about the children of criminals who broke our immigration laws crying on camera – Americans understand that if they get picked up for a DUI, MSNBC won’t show up with a crew to videotape their children sobbing.

Those are the kind of elite fetishes you hear advocated on CNN and the places where people watch CNN, like Washington. CNN also plays in airport lounges, but the only political talk I overheard there was generalized  contempt for political correctness. There were also complaints about irritating liberal initiatives, like paper straws, signaling generalized discontent with these  gratuitous policy pokes at the Normal people liberals seem determined to improve or, if that doesn’t work, eliminate.

That’s not to say that there are no activated, aggressive folks out there. There are. I spoke to a great conservative group in New Orleans and found, as I do in other places where I talk to Republicans, that they are intensely woke and intensely up for a fight. The Jeb! crew of country club cons has abandoned ship, and any mention of sleazy  geebos like Lose Boat Cap’n Bill Kristol draws howls of utter contempt (and a chorus of “Ahoys”). The base is all in on Donald Trump; no Fredocons need apply. If you want a surefire applause line, roast some squishy simp like Candy Crowley’s vinyl-clad gimp Mitt Romney and the crowd goes wild. We’re never going back to failure as usual.

There were some interesting revelations along the way. I visited the Schlichter hometown of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, where the first of us ended up in about 1750, probably after being kicked out of Germany for being too real. I was last there back in 2010 between toga parties at the nearby Army War College, and it was a wreck. The businesses were boarded up on the main drag, and everyone in the neighborhood my dad grew up in was sipping on a 40 and looked like Eminem.

It was a stark portrait of the collapse of rural America. So, coming back in 2019, I resolved to keep the windows up and drive fast, except it wasn’t a disaster in 2019. It was vibrant and clean. There were no degenerates wandering the streets. It wasn’t fancy, but on the surface at least, it no longer looked like a petri dish of middle American pathologies. I did not expect that; I expected to practically smell the opioids. Maybe having a president who gives a damn about people who don’t live in Brooklyn makes a difference.

History is not a hypothetical there. John Brown did some of the planning for the raid on Harper’s Ferry in C-Burg, and the Democrats burned it twice in the first civil war they provoked. Just up the road is Gettysburg, and visiting that battlefield with my grandmother (who had met veterans of that war) was one of my earliest memories. The problem is that this real American history, if it was ever learned by them, has been forgotten by the liberal dummies who need to learn it the most.

The battlefield was full of visitors, but these were almost all Normals. The same was true at Mt. Vernon and Arlington – a whole bunch of middle American folks and very few hipsters or liberals. How could I tell? You can tell. You saw families and a lot of vets, and not a lot of people who don’t look like they can do push-ups wearing t-shirts for obscure bands while their gender-indeterminate partner wears a kitty hat.

At Little Round Top and the Angle, you stand on patches of ground where bodies piled up because Americans could not resolve their differences in any other way than with bayonets and Minié balls. That’s true American history, not the garbage propaganda the elite tries to feed us to undermine the moral basis of our country and thereby justify their fundamental transformation of it into a socialist dictatorship with them in charge, of course.
Americans are thirsty for their heritage. They flock to it. And liberals, at best, ignore it and its lessons when they are not actively trying to erase it. The New York Times has promised a series of essays dedicated to show that slavery  was the entirety of America’s foundation, but that’s a lie designed to create a kind of original sin they can exploit for their own advantage today. It’s weaponized history.
My family didn’t have slaves – they carved a farm out of wilderness. The vast majority of people didn’t have slaves. And if you think there will be some sort of acknowledgement of what those men did to end slavery at Devil’s Den or Culp’s Hill, I’ve got a unicorn named Chet for sale cheap.

But liberals will gobble it up while regular Americans will continue actually going to where history happened and learning the truth. The gulf will widen between red and blue, and that’s bad because when you learn fake history you do not learn to avoid the mistakes of the past.

And the Democrats made some whoppers like, well, starting the Civil War comes to mind.

Locked up in their largely child-free urban playgrounds, our garbage elite is utterly unaware of the real America and of real Americans themselves. And it is dangerously unaware of – even actively hostile to – our true history. There are lessons there they need to learn as they continue to bully and provoke the mass of Americans who just wish to be left alone. Anyone who causally suggests confiscating millions of weapons from millions of American patriots and who has not walked through Lexington and Concord is a fool. And, sadly, our blue elite is full of fools.

Traffic Report; high road virtually deserted

Traffic report: High road virtually deserted

A live traffic report now as the local low road is said to be bumper-to-bumper, while the high road is virtually deserted.

Drivers are being asked to take the high road to speed up their commute as well as relieve traffic on the ever-popular low road.

The low road has become increasingly popular over the years thanks to its wide lanes and how easy it is to get off.

While the high road has been described as tricky, complicated and not as satisfying to drive on as the low road.

‘The high road often makes more sense for me, but I find the low road a much more enjoyable drive,’
 confirmed commuter Toby Carvery, 44.

Drivers taking the high road will be rewarded by no-one knowing they did the right thing.
